Founded by Ken Anthony, P.E., who graduated from the University of California San Diego with a BS and MS in Structural Engineering and has held a PE license since 2011, North Star Structural is built on a commitment to rigorous standards, clear deliverables, and direct communication.
Homeowners can count on receiving unbiased structural evaluations. As an independent firm, North Star Structural is not in the business of selling you repairs you may not need — you just get a real, expert opinion with no ulterior motive.

Foundation evaluations in Keller and across DFW
For buyers in an option period, sellers getting ahead of an inspection, and homeowners seeing cracks or sticking doors. Ken evaluates the home in person and gives you a sealed engineering opinion, independent of any repair company.
What’s included
- Floor-elevation survey, with tilt and deflection checked against the Texas Section ASCE guidelines for residential foundations
- Interior and exterior review: cracking in drywall, brick and the slab edge, doors and windows, and flatwork
- Drainage review: grading, gutters and downspouts, and trees near the foundation
- Sealed report with a floor-elevation map, photos, and prioritized recommendations
- The bottom line up front: whether repair is warranted, and what to do next
Plumbing tests and soil borings are not included. If the findings call for one, the report says so.

I’ve spent my structural engineering career designing bridges, culverts, structural systems and retaining walls for large infrastructure projects — structures where every detail must be correct and verified.
I started North Star Structural to bring that same rigor directly to my neighbors: homeowners, buyers, Realtors®, and inspectors who need a straight answer about a foundation or a structure, from the engineer who actually looked at it. No sales pitch, no repair contract, just an independent opinion you can trust.
I live in Keller with my family and serve the communities I know: Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, Trophy Club, and across the DFW Metroplex.
